Macro shot of feathers from an Eclectus Parrot. For the record, the feathers were collected humanly, the parrot shed them naturally whilst hospitalised at the vets where I work. They were just such great colours (the parrot was bright red and a bluey purple colour) they seemed too good to miss.

 My uncle brought to his house a bunch of dead geese for the feathers. I was so freaked when I saw ir in the garage freezer when I was getting pizza for lunch! I wasn't hungry after then. I wonder why! *wink*
